The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office at the Bangladesh Secretariat, with the two sides discussing increased investment in the country’s existing and mature gas fields as well as exploration for new gas reserves.

Chevron’s potential investment in developing Bangladesh’s domestic gas resources featured prominently in the discussions, as the country seeks to strengthen gas supplies and meet growing energy demand.
